Es Xarco, or Xareu, is a cove of sand and stones just a few metres from Cala Jondal, in the municipality of Sant Josep. It’s quieter than its neighbouring beach in terms of bathers, and has a traditional Ibizan restaurant with a wide terrace reaching down to the shore.
The final stretch of road is steep and unpaved. It’s popular with boats — an unspoilt cove with a restaurant close to the sea, frequented by upmarket tourists.
